Daffodil Day

We have dressed up for daffodil day.

We also bought some money to support the cancer society.

Look at the stripy yellow socks!

Gymnastics

On Wednesday the 25th of August all the people in this photo in our class went to the gymnastic competition. See Brad the dude in the red top with a sling, he did not get injured in the competition! I think we all had fun. The competition was held at TSB stadium. Oscars team won a second place ribbon and Grace's team won a third place ribbon.

Pouakai Zoo - a recount by Hannah

We have been learning to write recounts. This is Hannah's.

On Sunday in the school holidays I went to Pouakai Zoo with my Aunty Michelle and my Uncle Kerry and my two cousins Ethan and Mitchell.

First we went to see the white tigers getting fed, they eat horse meat.

After that we all went to feed the donkey. The donkey bit my little cousin Mitchell. He screamed like mad!

Later we went to get an ice cream. I got a Bubble o Bill.

On the way back my cousin Mitchell was bleeding. Luckily we had a first aid ket. We had to pull over to get Mitchell a plaster. Mitchell said, "Can I have a Batman plaster." We all laughed. It was very cute.

I wish I could go back to Pouakai Zoo again.

reading to the class

Art work using paper

Today we created these art works using coloured paper on a black background. We chose the colours we wanted to use, cut out frames in geometric shapes, arranged them on the paper, glued them down and displayed them on the wall. We hope to put them in the office foyer later. What do you think of them?
